Perry Township Board Regular Meeting
Board present: Sidney Grinnell, Supervisor; Sandra Michalek, Clerk; Troy Parmalee, Treasurer; Susan Hammond & Peggy Michalek, Trustees
The Supervisor opened the meeting with the pledge to the flag and all board was present.
Parmalee moved, second by Hammond to approve the agenda. Carried
Parmalee moved, second by Grinnell to approve the December minutes. Carried
Sheriff’s report: There were 135 incidents in Perry Township in December.
SSESA had 25 runs in Nov. in the township 4and 218 runs so far this year. SSESA’s total runs are 1412.
Recycling received $175 individual donations and $60 in the site donation box. A committee member checks the area each week.
Zoning: 2 violations.
P. Michalek moved, second by Hammond to approve the financial statement and pay the bills. Ayes: Grinnell, Hammond, P. Michalek, S. Michalek, & Parmalee.
There will be a city/township meeting on Jan. 18th at 7 pm at the Perry Township hall for Rowe Eng. to present the utility study they conducted on the Taylor property.
Due to the boundary expansion of the DDA, all members were given the new terms. Parmalee moved, second by S. Michalek to appoint the following people to the DDA Board: 4 yr. terms, Joe Audia & Brian Pfeifle; 3 yr. terms, Jaime Pavlica & Robert Roberts; 2 yr. terms, Robert Piro & Dawn Whitbeck; 1 yr. term, Adam Elsesser & Elizabeth Taylor. Ayes: Hammond, P. Michalek, S. Michalek, Parmalee, & Grinnell.
S. Michalek moved, second by P. Michalek to appoint Sue Hammond to the Aerotropolis Board as our representative with Troy Parmalee as the alternate. Carried
Kathy Pavlica resigned as our representative to the District Library. Parmalee moved, second by Hammond to appoint Peggy Michalek to replace her. Carried
Parmalee moved, second by P. Michalek to accept the snow removal bid of $50 per hour from Bob Freed to plow both the township all and Roselawn Cemetery. Ayes: P. Michalek, S. Michalek, Parmalee, Grinnell, & Hammond.
There were 4 changes at the winter board of review.
Parmalee moved, second by Hammond to approve the residential accessory building text amendment to the zoning ordinance. Carried.
The board set February 15, 2012 at 6:30 pm for the budget workshop.
Parmalee moved, second by S. Michalek to adjourn. Carried
