Perry Township is located in southwestern Shiawassee County in Central Michigan. Perry Township surrounds both the City of Perry and the Village of Morrice and is located centrally between Lansing and Flint on I-69. For more information, see the links provided.

Parks and Recreation

Perry Township is in the preliminary stages of developing a Parks and Recreation Plan for the Township. Presently our committee is meeting with other neighboring municipalities to see if there is interest in working jointly on a system. * Township Board meets the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7 pm

* Planning Commission meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7 pm

FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY AND VILLAGE RECALL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 28, 2012

THERE WILL BE A PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST OF THE VOTING MACHINES AT THE FOLLOWING PLACES:

PERRY CITY:   Tuesday February 14, 2012 at 1:pm at Perry City Hall, 203 W. Polly St., Perry

PERRY TOWNSHIP:  Tuesday February 14, 2012, at 10:00 am at Perry Township Hall, 2770 W. Ellsworth Rd.,  Perry

The public accuracy test is conducted to assure that the program and computer being used to tabulate the results of the election, and count the votes, are in conformance with the procedures prescribed by the law.
